Cultivation of Coriander in small patch of land is very common in Selesih and nearby Villages. Most of the farmers grow this crop in small terrace. The crop is a short duration crop and need not to give that much inter-cultural operation. Hence, it is a good income generating crop. Keeping this in view and to motivate the farmers to generate their income besides their main crop, training on Cultivation Practices of Coriander was given on dt.15-03-2008 at KVK office. Coriander (Ramses Variety) was distributed to 36 farmers attending this training under FLD programme. Though the period was dry season and the farmers facing water problem, the return was still very good. A  well-prepared format was given to each farmer to report their success story of this coriander. The format/report (in terms of bio-mass and cash) was collected after harvesting. Out of these 36 pockets coriander (18kg), a total of Rs.27,922/- was earned by these farmers. The demonstration/training was treated success.
